Our Services

We help develop kids in the following areas

Sensory Integration

To help enable children with sensory challenges to accurately detect, regulate, and interpret sensations and the execution of appropriate motor and behavioral responses to sensations so that they can be more “available” to learn, access the curriculum, participate socially, follow routines, and play.

Executive Function

To help children develop the tools for self-regulation and cognitive skills to be able to act responsibly, plan and initiate the skills needed to complete chores, life skills and academic coursework.

Hand Strength & Coordination

When the large and small muscles of the forearm and hard are slow to develop, weakness and incoordination may occur causing difficulties with reaching developmental milestones necessary for school and completing skills of daily living.

Visual Motor Integration

Visual motor integration is needed in order to coordinate the hands, legs, and the rest of the body’s movements with what the eyes perceive. It allows us to use our eyes and our hands in a coordinated and efficient manner.

Self-Care Skills

Developing a child’s self-care skills is not only important for meeting developmental milestones, but also in helping to increase self-esteem, confidence and independence. Self care may include dressing/undressing, self-feeding, toileting, and grooming skills.

Motor Planning

Motor planning is the child’s ability to receive information and then carry out a specific sequence of skills, activities, or movements.

Pre-Writing & Handwriting

Pre-writing skills are the foundational skills a child needs to develop before they are able to write. Handwriting is a complicated motor skills that requires dexterity, strength, motor planning skills, and fine motor skills.

Creative Spaces

Let our occupational therapy team come in to your home and help to engineer a sensory enriched space to encourage better regulation to complete coursework or to have a safe calm down area.
